At En Avant School of Dance, dancers of all ages and experience levels are trained in a positive and professional environment that encourages focus, commitment, and growth.

 

Our goal is to refine the art form of dance while providing a rewarding experience both in solo training and group classes. Students receive quality instruction that builds strong technique, prepares them for performance, and allows them to participate in internationally recognized ballet examinations through the Royal Academy of Dance.

• Ballet - a technical form characterized by precision, grace and flowing movement

• Acro - dance techniques combined with acrobatic feats

• Contemporary - expressive style of dance, real or imaginative incorporating many genres with focus on floor work

• Worship dance - a sacred dance form to express adoration and bring glory to God

• Musical theatre - a story is told incorporating acting, dancing and sometimes singing.  Many styles of dance are used depending on the music

• Tap - a percussive dance style where your shoes have metal taps adhered to crest rhythmic sounds while striking the floor

• Jazz - a dynamic rhythmic style of dance, high energy movement intertwined with sharp isolations

• Lyrical - a softer style of jazz with ballet technique intertwined.  Tells an emotional story
